Article #1: The outstanding comments from guests

Submitted by: Lynn Rains

Comment from the guest:

Again,  thank you so much for making our day at the Polynesian Cultural Center better than we could have imagined.  Our scooter was ready, and my husband loved the ease of getting from one village to another. Also, our personal guide, Hannah, was extraordinary!!!!! ❤️  She took care of our every need and explained with enthusiasm the different aspects of every village while getting us into many demonstrations and programs!  She made our day fun and stress-free!

The luau was delicious and memorable!  The entire staff and performers were incredible, and we felt special.

Finally, the show, Ha, was one of the most powerful performances I have ever witnessed!!  Between the individual and group performances, each and every part of the show was filled with emotion and passion, likely never to be forgotten!

Thank you for helping us make our day a phenomenal experience!  Your kindness will never be forgotten!

Congratulations to Aaliyah Ava for winning the Women’s Toa Afi, fireknife competition in Auckland, New Zealand earlier this month. She is a performer in the Theater Dept who also dances the fireknife in the show along with her twin sister Chandae who placed 2nd in the women’s division of the Siva Afi International fireknife competition in Apia, Samoa last November.

The Ava twins are the granddaughters of the legendary Pulefano Galeai who created the World Fireknife Championship held every May at the PCC.
