The 13th Annual World Fire Knife Dance Competition
& Samoa Festival
The PCC’s World Fire Knife Dance
Competition begins this year on Thursday, May 12, at 8 p.m. in the
Hale Aloha with a run-off among all entrants who come from Hawaii,
American Samoa, Samoa, the U.S. mainland and even more distant places.
Nine senior semi-finalists are selected from among all competitors
to compete again on Friday, May 13th after the Pacific Junior Fire Knife
Dance Competition, which starts at 8 p.m. in the Hale Aloha.
The World Fire Knife Dance Competition
finals are held during both the 6 pm. and 8 pm. PCC evening shows
on Saturday, May 14, with the winners announced after the 8 pm.
